Bluetongue virus case reported in the New Forest

A case of Bluetongue virus has been reported in the south of the New Forest over the weekend (September 26/27).

The New Forest Commoners’ Defence Association urges all cattle Commoners to contact their vet, if not already done so, to discuss and arrange vaccination for their animals as soon as possible.

The situation will be monitored closely and any further updates will be announced when available.
